Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Dog Grooming Apprentice. Responsibilities:

2. Ensure a calm and stress-free environment for dogs by employing positive reinforcement techniques, gentle handling, and a patient approach.

3. Observe and become familiar with different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming requirements to provide appropriate and breed-specific grooming services.

4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area, including equipment sanitization, laundry, and proper disposal of waste.

5. Develop excellent communication skills to understand and fulfill pet owners' requests, as well as provide guidance on grooming maintenance and products.

6. Learn and practice safe handling procedures to prevent accidents or injuries to both dogs and yourself, following established safety protocols and guidelines.

7. Assist in monitoring the overall well-being of dogs during the grooming process, promptly reporting any signs of discomfort, illness, or behavioral changes to senior staff members.

8. Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance grooming skills, stay updated with industry trends, and improve knowledge of dog behavior and welfare.

9. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by working effectively as part of a team, assisting colleagues when needed, and maintaining a professional and respectful attitude towards coworkers and clients.
